This #3 spiral coil zipper has a small chain and is ideal for scatter/throw cushions or anywhere that doesn't need a strong zip. For general seat & back sofa cushions it is best to use the #4 size zip which has a much stronger breaking strain and less likely to pop open. Spiral Coil zippers are generally stronger and more flexible than Chunky Moulded zippers, making them an excellent choice for projects with curves.
